How did 'horny' get to be
a bad word, anyway? Can you be horny and full of heart?

'Horny' was never a bad word in my book. ;-)
Looking at it from a negative perspective, however,
I think it has spiky connotations; sharp, pricking
horns, smacking of the bestial, the distasteful baseness
of the act of rutting.
Makes sex sound yucky, and downright painful- as I
assume was the point.
Can there be an emotional- loving, even- aspect to
animalistic lust? I say from experience, and emphatically,
yes.
My partner is one of the most beautiful, caring people
I know. He also posesses the most intense sex drive
of anyone I know, constantly aroused...
How do the two aspects find common ground? How do
I know he's not just using me to slake his sexual
thirst?
He looks at me, really *sees* Me, even- especially-
in moments of high passion. He cares to see that the
connection is strong.
Can you be horny and full of heart?
Hell yes. It's the best kind of horny. :-)
